Nobody wants your so-so job — making failing easy to get to 10X and bringing excellence!

There is no place like home. Does that sound something that we said to our loved ones over and over? There has to be some place better than home though to grow out of the home.

For astranouts, that will be space, for kids that would be the play grounds and like so, with others. Why it’s important to find the joy outside our comfort zone is because that is the only way to grow, the only way to challenge and be wise in the process !

I am very much pro to changes and challenges and weird doings to get uncomfortable and prove not so cool of myself once in a while, quite often. That’s the way to stay humble and grow, is what I learnt.

How can I help position anyone in that same state ? is a question :

A. As a parent, set a difficult task that my kid will fail at least twice at.

B. As a manager or co-worker, set a deadline, project scope and expectations difficult to attain on each task for new employee, until it becomes a habit for them to challenge themselves. This works mainly for new comers to the team.

C. In family, with elders too, it works to declare your ambitious plans at the start and end of each day each month etc.

Basically, family endeavor that you chase together need to have goals and motivations and some challenges desinged to fail.

Next time you plan a trip, make eute to include that incredibly difficult trail in your plan and actually do it at least partly.

It mentally sets the family to think that they are part of something big, all the time.

Tools to use to create challenges :
1. Created difficult, brainstorming situations at home.

2. Not be able to settle for a low at work. Asking critical questions to ourselves and commiting to something that you never did before to stretch the skills,all the time, make sure you depend on these skills to get work done though!

3. For partners, always plan for 10x for your endeavors and watch the team fail short of over and over , provided the failure rate is reducing and the process is making you strategic and smarter.

4. With customer, remember to know what is most important to your customer and maximize and stretch for that. It’s not always time and money. Critically thinking, it’s the reliability, the quality, the service that is important. Set 10x goals for the same parameters.
